First-Time Families

Each week Family Church Kids, children ages zero through fifth grade meet with their age specific groups to engage in worship and study God’s Word in a developmentally appropriate way. We currently use Orange Curriculum in all of our Family Church Kids groups.

Pre-Register Your Family

Family Church Kids welcomes children aged zero through fifth grade during all service times. Ensure a seamless experience by utilizing the button below to pre-register your family before your initial visit!

Check-In On Sunday

Follow the signs to the Kids Ministry Check-In Area or someone on our First Impressions Team with a Teal Lanyard. You will put your phone number into the iPad at the check-in station, it will print a name tag, then please place that on your child’s back and bag if they have one (Nursery). Then our Kids Ministry Leaders will help get your child to the right class room.

Check-Out On Sunday

Following the service, please make your way back to the Kids Check-In Area as there will be a lined formed at the check-in desk. Our Kids Ministry leaders will retrieve your parent sticker and then radio to the classroom for your child to come to the check-in desk. Your child will then be released to you.

All of our Kids Ministry Leaders have been background checked for your child’s safety. Please help us during check-out, for safety purposes we ask that parents don’t go beyond the table to get their children.

Kids Ministry Baptism Information

We are so excited that your child is wanting to take the next step in their faith journey by pursuing baptism. It is our conviction that baptism should occur only as a symbol after someone has surrendered their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

We invite you to sign up for a meeting with Savanna Dietz our Kids Ministry Director so we can equip you to walk alongside your child in their discipleship journey.

Child Dedication

Child dedication is a meaningful ceremony where parents publicly commit to raising their child in the Christian faith. It is a way to acknowledge God's sovereignty in their child's life and to seek the church's support and prayers as they fulfill their parental responsibilities.

Key elements of a child dedication:

  • Parental Commitment: Parents express their desire to raise their child according to Christian values and principles.

  • Church Support: The church community pledges to support and encourage the family in their faith journey.

  • Prayer: The congregation prays for the child's spiritual growth and for the parents as they fulfill their role as Christian parents.

Common misconceptions:

  • Child dedication is not baptism: While both involve a public declaration, baptism is typically seen as a symbol of an individual's personal faith in Christ, while dedication is a parental commitment.

  • Dedication does not guarantee salvation: It's a step of faith and trust, but salvation is an individual decision that each person will make.
