FAMILY GROUPS
We do groups different than maybe you have experienced in the past. Our desire is for people to group up with other families and singles in which they connect with. We meet in one another's homes once a month (joining a group doesn’t require you to host). The purpose of Family Groups is to connect and do life with one another on a deeper level. Our groups are inviting, centered around gathering together, sharing a meal, and talking through a few questions around the sermon series we are currently in. The only thing missing from our groups is you and your family! Find a group and get connected.
FAQ
WHERE DO WE MEET?
We have many different groups at Family Church that meet in several different locations across Sumter County. Our groups meet in the home of the group leader or a member of the groups home, and some will meet at local coffee shops or restaurants.
WHAT DO THE GROUPS STUDY?
Our groups work in partnership with the current sermon series.
WHAT IF WE NEED CHILDCARE?
We understand that having children can sometimes make it more difficult to join a Family Group. But we don’t want there to be any deterrent to people getting into community here at Family Church. Most groups have a plan for child care when they gather, so please check with your group leader. If for some reason the group you attend doesn’t have accommodations please contact us and we will help with the cost of child care for your family.
WHAT DO WE DO IN OUR GROUPS?
In our Family Groups, we engage in community, conversation about the Bible, and prayer. For more intentional discipleship we break into smaller gender-based huddles that meet weekly or bi-weekly.
WHAT ARE DINNER PARTIES?
Are what we call our monthly gatherings!
